At Oceanside Sanctuary, we believe that asking questions, exploring new perspectives, and engaging with thoughtful theology are vital parts of our spiritual journeys. We are thrilled to introduce our new Lending Library—a curated collection of religious texts, commentaries, and resources with a special focus on progressive Christianity.
Whether you are looking to dive into the contemplative wisdom of Richard Rohr, explore the expansive theology of Rob Bell, rethink scripture with Peter Enns, or discover new voices, our shelves are open to you.
A massive thank you to our dedicated volunteer librarian, Beverly, who has spent countless hours meticulously cataloging our collection. Thanks to her hard work, you can now easily browse our new online database, check out books, and find your next great spiritual read.
How to Borrow
Browse our collection in person after church or look for a specific title using the button below
on a Sunday before or after church, find the book you are looking for
fill out the card located in the back cover of your selection
leave the card in the box
Read and care for the book, returning it when you are ready in the shape you found it
return by leaving it in the box on the bottom shelf of the library shelf
