The OSC Book Club will start up again in September and we want your help picking our next round of selections! This year our monthly sessions will include the authors live on Zoom! This means you will have the opportunity to meet the authors and ask them your questions.
Season 11 of The Collective Table podcast will highlight stories of empathy. While some Christian leaders are promoting the idea that empathy is a sin, we think it is a vital aspect of love. Can you recall a time when your empathy for someone moved you to take action in ways that stretched you to grow?
June was a busy month at OSC! In addition to our Mission 2030 Dreaming Sunday, Pride Sunday, Fathers Day, and our annual Congregational Meeting, we also conducted our annual Supporting Member drive. Today we want to offer a sincere thanks to all who continued their Supporting Memberships and all who signed up for the first time.
In response to continued steady growth, The Oceanside Sanctuary members present at yesterday’s annual congregational meeting unanimously approved a change three proposals: 1) A chage to our bylaws, 2) our Fiscal Year 2025/2025 Board slate, and 3) Our Fiscal Year 2025/2026 budget. Below is a summary of the decisions made.
