We are kicking off summer this month with some wonderful opportunities at The Oceanside Sanctuary.
Wait…what could this possibly be?
June marks our annual Supporting Member drive at OSC! This year our goal is to enlist 15 new Supporting Member households by June 30th. We need your support to pursue our mission. Plus, click here to see our new Supporting Member gift this year!
Next, our Zoom Book Club meets this coming Thursday night at 6:30 pm to discuss OSC member Larry Warner’s book Awake & Aware: Poetic Ponderings on Racism. If you’ve never joined our book club before, we highly encourage you to join them. It’s a great way to meet some amazing people have grow in your faith. Click here to RSVP.
Also, June is Pride month! As always, we are excited to host a booth at Pride by the Beach this coming Saturday, June 7th. We’d love to see you there! Our Queer Committee needs volunteers to help run the OSC booth. Click here to sign up for two-hour time slots between 10:30 am and 6 PM.
Pride Sunday at OSC is the very next day on June 8th at 10 am. As always for Pride Sunday, there will be amazing music, an inspiring faith message, and…a taco truck!
Pub Theology has added one more get-together before the summer break! They’ll meet on Wednesday June 18th at 6 pm at Green Cheek brewing in Oceanside. Click here to RSVP to join them.
Finally, our annual congregational meeting is scheduled for Sunday, June 29th. We'll have 3 important items of business to decide on: 1) Our new Board slate for FY 25/26, 2) Our proposed budget for FY 25/26, and 3) a proposal to add additional board members.
One last word of thanks. We are so grateful for the 80+ people (kids included!) who joined us last Sunday for our Mission 2030 Dreaming session! We are truly inspired by the hopes, dreams, and passions you expressed in so many creative ways. Click here to see pics from last Sunday.
