As we step into a new year at The Oceanside Sanctuary and a renewed vision and mission, you are invited to lean into community and help us cultivate a Christian spirituality “reclaiming its calling to be known for love, liberation, and the celebration of God’s image in all people.”
To kick-off Advent, join us on Sunday, December 3rd at 10am for a unique Sunday Gathering entitled, Advent’s Light: Celebrating Song, Story, and Community. All ages will enjoy singing, interactive storytelling, and community. Stick around after the service to sip hot cocoa, eat cookies, and a chance to make your own Advent wreath. We encourage individuals and families of all kinds to come together and embrace the spirit of the Advent season!
If we have not gotten the chance to meet yet, my name is Claire and I am thrilled to serve as your Youth & Family Minister here at Oceanside Sanctuary. In the coming weeks, one of my goals is to reach out to each and every one of you - I want to get to know you and your family’s passions, questions, and needs so that we can continue the beautiful work of community among our kids, teenagers, and families at OSC.
The Oceanside Sanctuary and Pilgrim United Church of Christ youth groups are joining forces again for a follow-up to our pizza and pottery workshop from August! If you joined us to learn how to make your own mug, this is your opportunity to finish it! If you weren’t there last time, no problem! Join us anyway to make some art and some new friends!
